The principle
SendMasked hides who it is about — not what it is about.
The AI needs to understand the matter to help you: the dispute, the terms, the diagnosis. It does not need to know who it concerns. So identities are masked, not content.

Strict by default
Anything that looks like personal data is masked. Unmask what got it wrong with one click.
Same name, same token
John, John’s and John Doe become [PERSON_1] everywhere, so the answer still makes sense.

The Safari extension adds a Mask button by the chat field in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, Copilot, Le Chat and DeepSeek – on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Text you paste is masked right away.
Read the answer as it is
Show real details opens the AI's answer with the names in place, in a panel only you can see. The website never sees them.
The key stays with you
The key is kept encrypted in the app for as long as you choose. Turn the extension on in Settings › Apps › Safari › Extensions.
What gets masked
Anything that points to a person or a company.
Checksums for Social Security, National Insurance, NHS, bank and card numbers, patterns for addresses and amounts, and Apple Intelligence for names that are on no list. Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Icelandic and German documents too.
